Just returned from an incredible 3-day trip to Baku, Azerbaijan! This city, with its blend of ancient history and modern architecture, truly amazed me. Started my adventure in the UNESCO-listed Old City (Icherisheher). Wandered through narrow alleys, visited the Maiden Tower, and marveled at the Palace of the Shirvanshahs. The historic charm is captivating. Spent the day exploring Baku’s modern side. The Flame Towers are breathtaking, especially at night when they light up the skyline. Also visited the stunning Heydar Aliyev Center, designed by Zaha Hadid – a true architectural masterpiece.
